About AMT Associates

AMT Associates began operations in 1991. Our purpose was to provide government and commercial organizations with the ability to implement newly emerging data collection technologies. This technology would allow for a faster and more efficient means of collecting valuable asset information in the field. To best apply this, AMT Associates created a strategic partnership with the premier data collection suppliers of the time: Psion Inc. and Handheld Products (formerly Welch Allyn, Inc). These manufacturers were the developers of many early portable data collection devices and barcode reading technologies. With these tools, AMT Associates was able to design and deploy many collection systems. Our systems demonstrated how the use of barcode technology, combined with process-oriented software development, could quickly and easily provide for an efficient method of collecting information.
